It has been some time now since I started my web site. Like scouts, I hope this site will grow through time because without growth, stagnation sets in.
So this does not stagnate, here is my latest addition, a page honoring those scouts and scouters who have reached the highest rank in scouting, Eagle Scout.
It is my hope that by providing the following information, I will help at least one scout make Eagle.
For those scouts who are close to making Eagle or are not sure they want to make Eagle, here are my feelings. I am a very active adult scouter on the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, training, commissioner and most recently, OA levels. I can be most anything I want in scouting but I can NEVER go back and earn my Eagle. Does it make a difference. You can bet your last penny it does. Once earned, you are "Always an Eagle" be you 13 or 130 years old. It is something you can be proud of the rest of your life. It will open doors for you in later life that you can not currently dream about opening. You only get one chance to earn Eagle. Once that 18th birthday is upon you, you can not go back.
So go for it. Take the information below and get going. Your Eagle wings may not be as far away as you think.
